Mamata Banerjee launches Yogashree Project, focuses on education with academic week initiatives

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee marked the culmination of the state government's Academic Week celebration by launching the Yogashree Project and inaugurating the Bhangar Division. The ceremony, attended by Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal, witnessed the opening of Bhangar Police Station, North Kashipur, Chandaneshwar, and Polarhat Police Station.

The Yogashree Project aims to provide free training to marginalized communities, particularly Scheduled Caste and Tribe students, covering entrance exams for government jobs, as well as JEE, NEET, and WBJEE examinations.

The Academic Week, observed from January 1 to 7, served as a platform for the state government to underscore its commitment to education and empowerment. The inauguration of Bhangar Division further reflects the government's focus on strengthening administrative and law enforcement infrastructure in the region.
